In April 2008, the Municipality of Kalamaria granted to our Association a plot of 376 sq.m. for the construction and operation of the Day Care Center.
The Center’s construction began in November 2010 and was completed in June 2012 thanks to the generous donations of Mrs. Lefkothea Mati and the Panhellenic Association of Manufacturing Industries and Tobacco Trading Companies, who also stepped up our efforts to supply the basic equipment.
The Center’s operation, began in January 2013 with the first 9 children of the Association. Nowadays 23 children, adolescents and adults with visual impairment and additional disabilities, 43 parents, brothers and sisters, as well as many people in their wider family environment and in the local community benefit from the programs of the Association that are being implemented in the Center
